Exactly the truth... Go back far enough (before photos) and it was considered quite the normal thing.
I confirm. For instance, Julius Caesar was called the husband of all women and the wife of all husbands. And that was not a problem.

That's so interesting! Didn't know that. 🙂 Ironically, I'm very interested in Ancient Rome and male to male love, or whatever it was for each one of them. Symbol of power or whatever. Been planning to watch TV shows Rome & Spartacus. 💪🏻 Will do when I get the time to do so. And also downloaded quite a few e-books about that era, which explore these gay love themes. Just gotta find some spare time now. 😄
